At age 15 I stumbled on my mothers guitar … and wanted to play. I took some lessons from a guy in the neighborhood, who teached me to play and sing along.
After a while, my mother wanted to get her guitar back, so I went to a shop to buy my first guitar. The luthier in the shop showed me guitars and invited another guy to play things to show me what every guitar was sounding like. It was Jacques Stotzem (check out his YouTube channel !) playing and my jaw fell on the floor.
His music was a direct hit to my heart. I wanted to play like that, and started attending concerts, taking private lessons, masterclasses. I had a ten year interruption to finish my studies, and started working, but then I started playing again, and trying to compose pieces myself.
Guitar playing is still the most enjoyable thing I can think of. Sharing the pleasure and getting comments and critiques from other people is why my pieces are here.
